This Virginia made Chardonnay vinegar is clean, crisp and light in fruit and body with a nice apple nose. Finishes buttery with a hint of oak. Excellent with a robust olive oil on mixed greens, a good poaching addition for chicken or fish and this vinegar makes your hollandaise the best.
This makes a great substitute for champagne vinegar.
Jay and Steph live in Nelson County, VA where they have a solar-powered homestead that is their family farm. They moved there because they wanted a self-sustaining lifestyle with fresh, unprocessed foods. They couldn’t find anyone, in the midst of Virginia wine country, making great vinegar, so they began crafting it themselves from locally sourced ingredients.
They began with years of careful research and recipe fine-tuning including networking with scientists, food manufacturers, homecrafters, wineries and restaurateurs to make the best handcrafted natural vinegar. We are delighted to add these vinegars to our stock of some of the world’s best vinegars.
